Privacy notice
Last updated: 14 October 2026
In short: this website uses no cookies and no tracking. We only collect what we need to answer you and to run your subscription, we never sell it, and you can ask us to see or delete it at any time.
Who is responsible for your data
Tenjotech Limited (company number 786888), 13 The Avenue, Green Lane Manor, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, D24 HNP5, Ireland, is the data controller. Contact: hello@tenjotech.com.
What we collect and why
- Visiting this website: we use no cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Emailing us: your email address and whatever you include in your message, so we can reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or taking steps towards a contract you've asked about.
- Subscribing: your name, email address, billing country and payment details. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Legal basis: performing our contract with you, and our legal obligation to keep tax records.
- Using the assistant: your messages and voice requests, the assistant's replies, and the information you choose to give it, so it can answer you. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing terms:
- Stripe, for payments, invoices and receipts;
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, security and email routing;
- cloud hosting and database providers that run the assistant;
- AI, speech-recognition and voice providers (for example Google, OpenAI, Deepgram and Cartesia), which process your requests so the assistant can reply;
- our accountants, for invoices and tax records.
Some of these providers process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
- Emails from enquiries that don't lead to a subscription: up to 2 years.
- Your assistant's conversations and setup information: while your subscription is active, and deleted within 90 days after it ends, or sooner if you ask.
- Invoices and payment records: 6 years, as required by Irish tax law.
Businesses and schools using our assistants
When a school, practice or business uses one of our assistants with its own parents, customers or visitors, that organisation is the data controller and we process data on its behalf under a data processing agreement. If you've used such an assistant, please contact that organisation first; we'll help them answer your request.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Email hello@tenjotech.com and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie, or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll update the date above and, if you're a subscriber, tell you by email.
